Bio: Dr. Stevie Chancellor is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Her award-winning research combines approaches from Human-Computer Interaction and AI for human-centered AI and mental health, focusing on high-risk health behaviors in online communities & social media. In addition, she works on innovative solutions to improve AI that influences mental health in social media. Her work and opinions has been covered in international outlets, such as the United Nations ITU, The New York Times, NPR, and The Washington Post.
